Shadow Gangs Kickstarter Now Live, Steam Greenlight Campaign in Progress

It was just 10 days ago that I wrote up my first article on Shadow Gangs.  In that period of time the developers have launched a Kickstarter campaign.  They have also been working to get their new game on Steam via the “Greenlight” program.  There is just under one month left in the Kickstarter campaign […]

Saboteur 2 Gets Upgraded to 128k on ZX Spectrum Gaming Computer

Back in the day games had very limited graphics and sound capabilities.  Developers had to work to get gamers drawn into the game world they created.  Work hard.  Take a game like Saboteur 2, in its original form it was a good game but could have been better.  Of the many platforms Saboteur 2 hit […]

Update: Last Ninja 2 on Konix, Video and New Screens

Earlier this year we covered the announcement that Last Ninja 2 for the Konix Multisystem retrogaming platform.  Now, there has been a slight update made available.  Namely a video of the game running in a Konix emulator which shows the disks were still good and readable and some new screenshots.  This is exciting news considering […]

Prototype: Last Ninja 2 for the Konix Multisystem Found, Preservation Status Poor

The Konix Multisystem was quite a beast, had it been released, that could have at least been an interesting purchase for gamers.  The biggest draw of this vaporware platform is that it would contain nearly every conceivable accessory that you could think of inside and ready for use.  Yeah, not a big thing to hitch […]

Today in Retro Gaming: Ninja Spirit (TG16)

It is sometimes tough trying to figure out what to cover and what to ignore here on RGM. On the one hand, covering newer titles is a good way to bring retro and modern gaming together in an almagation of games but on the other, it is an easy way to alienate the fanbase. Covering […]

Today in Retro Gaming – Zen: Intergalactic Ninja (NES)

There are more games featuring ninjas, about ninjas, or with ‘ninja’ in the title than there were actual ninjas throughout all of human history [citation needed].  Konami’s Zen: Intergalactic Ninja for the NES is totally one of them.  And you need to play it, or the eco-terrorists win.

Game Hack: Ninja Gaiden Final Boss Death Fix (Now 90% Less Frustratingly Difficult)

Anyone that has even gotten to the final boss of the original Ninja Gaiden knows, it is quite a stupifying frustrating ordeal. Mainly because of the problem with how deaths are handled. When your character fails, and this will happen A LOT, he is sent back to the beginning of level 6-1. That sucks.
