Wallachia Reign of Dracula is one of the cross-genre games gamers either hate or love. Here we get a cross between “metroidvania” and Contra by Konami. If you are not a fan of metroidvania games, then there is probably not much here to change your mind. For everyone else, get ready. Wallachia will be getting an extremely limited physical release on Nintendo Switch.

Controlling Elcin Floarea, you must stop Vlad the Impaler and free Wallachia. The developers are very up front about classic titles in this genre being an influence. Elcin is the Simon Belmont of the Wallachia games.

Professional voice actors are involved as well. Kira Buckland, NeiR: Automata, River City Girls and Robert Belgrade, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Tenchu, are on board. Music was done by Jeffery Montoya.

If you are a fan of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night pay attention. You can get ready for some unlockable crossover content. Wallachia Reign of Dracula boasts seven levels, mini games, and an English voice track. There are also subtitle options for Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese languages.

Wallachia Reign of Dracula will be limited to 5,000 copies

Yep, five thousand copies. That is not a lot by any means. United States based publisher, VGNYsoft will be doing the honors this December. Each copy will be individually numbered and feature region-specific cover art. There will also be a certificate of authenticity included.

Get ready for lower numbered releases to be offered up on eBay shortly after release.
