Grannys Teeth puts you in the role of an elderly lady just trying to collect her dentures. Considering this is a video is a videogame, we know this is not going to be easy. Granny has put her grand children to bed and put her dentures in a glass by her bedside. Waking up early the next day Granny realizes her dentures are missing. Kids will be kids and Granny’s dentures became the hide & seek item of the day.
#1 denture collecting game on Commodore 64
Guiding an old person to get their dentures is probably not a premise most gamers expected. That is exactly what is going on in Grannys Teeth.
Much like most video game characters; Granny lives in an interesting home. This is not a normal home. There are pits, water traps and giant animals like dogs and spiders. There are also a surprising number of floor objects to jump and flying enemies to avoid.
According to Mechanism.fr Grannys Teeth features eight rooms with a total of thirty-two levels. Apparently, Granny managed her money quite well.
Grannys Teeth is not a simple game
Single screen games used to be the go-to genre in gaming. From classics such as Solomon’s Key to even Donkey Kong and Mario Bros, it is a varied genre.
Granny’s Teeth puts more challenge on the screen, and smaller sprites, than most similar titles. Your quest around the screen is going to be tough. Plenty of challenge is available on each screen. Creatures, holes, water, and more stand between your walker enabled character and her dentures. No mention is a switch is available as a bonus later though.
