Saints Row the Third Remastered is probably not high on many people’s list of remasters wanted. Still though, here it is. Just released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Epic Game Store for PC’s. What can you expect in this remaster? Well, better graphics and sound of course.

The story of Saints Row the Third

The Saints are at the height of their power and no one can touch them. Life is good. Your life is good. Unlike real gangs, you have taken control of the perception your gang gives. Once street thugs, now a household name with branding. Sneakers, energy drinks, even bobble heads all bring in cash to improve your lifestyle.

This success brings attention. We all know not all attention is good attention.

The Syndicate, a global criminal fraternity sees your success and demands tribute. Considering your gang is not going to do that, a war breaks out and your town, Steelport, is caught in the middle.

Improvements fans can expect

As mentioned already, graphics and sound are improved. On top of those two key components, there are other improvements.

Lighting has been improved as well as whole environments seeing reworking. Par for the course, this remaster makes slight changes to the fundamental base game. This means hardcore fans will see plenty to warrant a purchase. Those that waited on this one will now be able to get the best-looking version.

Saints Row the Third Remastered is best value

This is something I wish we would see more of with remasters. Saints Row the Third Remastered features all the Downloadable Content (DLC) that was made available so far.

This means three mission packs and over 30 pieces of DLC are included at no extra charge. That is just awesome as you are also getting the most complete version of Saints Row the Third.
