Super Nintendo games are often good. Especially those hitting the Nintendo Switch Online service. Today we have four games total being released. One is a NES game, Rygar, and the other three are Super Nintendo games. All are quality releases in their days.
Rygar on Nintendo Entertainment System
This was one of those games that was in arcades simultaneously. For many fans it was cheaper to rent the NES version then challenge the arcade cabinet. Tecmo made sure the home game was as close as possible to the arcade version. Of the games hitting today, Rygar is the only one that is affordable to most gamers. I covered a cool hack for Rygar that makes it a God of War game for those interested.
Operation Logic Bomb on Super Nintendo
During the 16-bit days, overhead action games were seemingly quite popular. Operation Logic Bomb is one such title. Take control of a bioelectronic enhanced soldier and face the action. This is another one that is stupid high on eBay, especially for a complete copy.
Panel de Pon on Super Nintendo
For most reading this, Panel de Pon is probably an unknown title. Maybe you know it better as Tetris Attack. This was a late release in the life of the Super Nintendo. It was also yet another entry in the “Super Nintendo is what Genesisn’t”. Sega simply did not have anything to match this one. At least they had Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine to counter the previous Nintendo puzzler.
Wild Guns on Super Nintendo
Wild Guns Reloaded is also available, that is a remake/improvement. This is the original game on Super Nintendo, it goes for stupid amounts on eBay. If you are familiar with Nam ’75 on the Neo Geo then you have an idea of how to play Wild Guns. You do not necessarily control the character, instead you directly control the crosshairs.
