Greak Memories of Azur is a new “Metroidvania” style game coming to PC and Nintendo Switch. This is not your typical huge world to explore game. Hand-drawn 2D worlds await those that take on the challenge. Controlling three siblings will add diversity and challenge to Greak. This is the debut game for a new Latin American developer, Navegante, too.
Get him to the Greak
Azur is a huge world full of lush scenery and dark dank caverns. Populating this world are many enemies just waiting to end your quest. Along your way there will be friends as well though.
You are not alone in this challenge though. There are three characters available to control, one at a time of course. Greak, Adara, and Raydel are siblings, each specializing in a different skill.
Greak can fit through small areas with ease. Adara can wield magic such as levitation and various attacks. Raydel is the fighter of the trio and can use special gear.
Help these three siblings stop the invasion of their world, the world of Azur.
Greak Memories of Azur is a debut title
This is a debut title from Navegante a new Latin American development team are. The level of detail achieved is impressive and shows great care for the genre.
“Greak: Memories of Azur is a real labour of love for everybody involved with Navegante and our friends from Bromio; we want to create a game that excels artistically and exceeds the players’ expectations. Partnering with Team17 is a dream come true for us, since their track record in nurturing and launching indie titles is incredible, so we’re extremely excited to fulfil our vision for Greak: Memories of Azur with them.” From Navegante Entertainment co-founders, Rodrigo Fernandez and Gustavo Alcala.
Greak Memories of Azur is definitely one to keep an eye on. Who is excited for this one?
