How the Greats Have Fallen – Crazy Taxi Gazillionaire on Android

Crazy Taxi Gazillionaire

Is it me or is Sega following in the footsteps of Konami lately? Konami made a Pachinko machine out of Castlevania awhile back. Now, Sega have taken Crazy Taxi and gone completely in a different direction than fans would probably have wanted. Yep, they took the core idea behind Crazy Taxi, making money, and pretty much dropped most of the other things that made the game unique. Crazy Taxi Gazillionaire does have the characters and such, just you are no longer fighting for customers.

Crazy Taxi Gazillionaire is a clicker game. Much like Tap to Riches and Office Space – Idle Profits. You have levels to reach, things to buy and well, click and click, and click, and click. That is pretty much it for these types of games. There is no real game to them. There is a bit more interaction than a Pachinko machine but not much.

At least Crazy Taxi Gazillionaire does have the various cabbies and some decent 3D effects to break things up a bit. If you are wanting an authentic, retro, Crazy Taxi experience, this is not going to give it to you. This is sad because Sega could have done just about anything else here and had a hit on their hands, instead they went with a clicker game. It remains to be seen if it is going to be a hit or not though.
