Sigi: A New Platformer with an Old Soul

Steam Greenlight may be changing its name and direction soon, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t great games still hoping to find a place in your Steam library. Looking to follow in the pixelated footsteps of Greenlight hits like River City Ransom Underground and Organ Trail: Director’s Cut, Sigi offers retro platforming gameplay with modern day tech performance.

Sigi is a 2D side-scrolling platformer which draws graphical and gameplay queues from such iconic games as Super Mario Land, Ghouls ‘n Ghosts, and Donkey Kong Country. Add some campy humor and a zippy chiptune soundtrack and you have all the makings of a new old classic. The developer plans to release Sigi on multiple platforms including Windows, Mac, Android, and IOS.
