Build-A-Bear Workshop Welcomes Sonic the Hedgehog and Friend

Sonic the Hedgehog Build-A-Bear Workshop

The Build-A-Bear Workshop service has become a staple of malls across North America. This service, for those that do not know, allows customers to build a bear (hence the name). There have been many different themed bears that have carried unique licenses. Now we can add Sonic the Hedgehog to the long list of limited edition bears that fans can work with. There is a catch though.

Build-A-Bear Workshop has decided to really milk the Sonic the Hedgehog fan base here. There are several versions of Sonic available for purchase. One version is a 17-inch-tall pre-stuffed Sonic the Hedgehog that features one trademark gold ring accessory. This version also features an exclusive 4×6 print. Get ready to shell out $35 for a rather pudgy looking Sonic though. This bundle is online only so get it while you can.

Next up is the 13-inch-tall Miles “Tails” Prower doll. This little guy is pre-stuffed and will set you back about $15. You can’t really have Sonic the Hedgehog without Tails, right?

If you are a die-hard Sonic the Hedgehog fan then you definitely need to add the digital sound clip. This little add-on will set you back $7 but it plays the “Special Stage” music from Sonic the Hedgehog 3.

Finally, we have a t-shirt that you can add to your Build-A-Bear Workshop order and have your bear wearing it. On the shirt we find a print of Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles. $7 and it is yours to own and put on your favorite Build-A-Bear Workshop stuffed animal.

Sonic the Hedgehog fans will already have left us for the Build-A-Bear Workshop website to make their order. I wonder why there is not a bundle of both characters, and extras, for easy ordering and maybe a slightly lower price over buying it all separate? Maybe they are working on that for closer to Christmas.
