Wild Guns Reloaded Exclusive Coming to Playstation 4 Showing E3 2016

When you think of classic retro titles to bring back for modern consoles, what do you think of?  If you are Natsume you apparently think it is time to reboot Wild Guns.  I have to agree, this is a great title to reboot and update for the modern console generation.  This is good news if you are a Sony Playstation 4 owner as Wild Guns Reloaded is a planned exclusive.  Sorry Nintendo Wii U or Xbox One owners.  You are out of luck on this one.  If you are attending E3 this year, you will get to see Wild Guns Reloaded running, possibly playable, in the Natsume booth.

The original Wild Guns was a Super Nintendo title, also by Natsume.  For the fans that bought it, the game holds a special place in their hearts.  For everyone else, it is a 3rd person 2D forced perspective shooter that they don’t quite understand the allure of.

If you have never played Wild Guns then let me explain it a bit for you.  The action is setup similar to many arcade light gun games that came home in one way or another.  You are given a reticle on the screen that you move around to shoot enemies.

The enemies in Wild Guns were steampunk in style- mixing robots with the old west theme.  It was an interesting mix and one that is definitely eye catching.

Natsume has stated that will be shown at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3).  Wild Guns Reloaded will be exclusive to the Sony Playstation 4 console.  No word yet if this will be a digital Playstation Network release or if it will be a physical disc.  I am personally hoping for a physical disc with extras such as artwork and other collectibles.  Also, no word on if the original Super Nintendo game will be included in the purchase.
