The Adventures of Tiny Knight is an all new action platform title that was originally planned to be the pack-in title for the failed RETRO Video Game System (potentially returning to crowdfunding later this year).  We saw a teaser trailer released for what was supposed to be the RETRO VGS version in action, but there was no console shown and no known prototype available at that time.  We now have a teaser video of the Super Nintendo/Wii U version of Adventures of Tiny Knight.  The announcement was made less than an hour ago, as of this writing.

Adventures of Tiny Knight is a 2D side scrolling action platforming title that featured a graphical style on par with that of the Turbo Grafx-16- colorful but precious little parallax scrolling.  While not a bad looking title, it felt out of place against the competition that was being shown off in the IndieGoGo campaign for the RETRO VGS (such as Gunlord- a Neo Geo title that purportedly was to run on the same hardware).  Now, we are seeing that Adventures of Tiny Knight is going to be a Super Nintendo and Nintendo Wii U title.

At this point I am unable to comment on the actual gameplay of the SNES/Wii U version since there is only the intro that has been shown off.  So far as I can tell, both intros are the exact same so I am not sure that this is running on actual hardware yet (either the SNES or Wii U).  More than likely it is running on a development hardware unit, yet to be compiled to the SNES binary or Nintendo Wii U code.  Either way, I hope they are able to improve on the original gameplay video that we saw when this was RETRO VGS bound.
