Exclusive: Sydney Hunter: Curse Of The Mayans Coming To Sega Genesis, Developer Named

Sydney Hunter creator of important 80s adventure titles is making his way to the Sega Genesis thanks to CollectorVision Games. This is their first contribution to the system but hopefully not the last if sales are good, as they will stay true to their 2D side scrolling action that heavily borrows from Indiana Jones.

I have collected our previous articles at the bottom of this for anyone wanting to see where he has been, now that you know were he is headed. You can find Who’s porting it and we went with a shot of Tia Carrere, Relic Hunter (who is not connected to this game at all but is nice to look at).

I have heard that my longtime friend, Jason Santuci, is handling the port of Sydney Hunter: Curse of the Mayans to the Sega Genesis. Regardless of what device you are playing this game on, it is guaranteed to be an excellent 16-bit adventure game.

Many games these days offer pre-downscaled graphics. This means that we will see more frames of animation, detail in the sprites, and color definition as things are downscaled to meet the Sega Genesis specs. Think what Nintendo did with Donkey Kong Country on the Super Nintendo– they downscaled a much better looking game to the SNES limitations and created something quite awesome!

Retro Gaming News: Revel in the suspense as a Kickstarter is underway for a new console, RETRO VGS. That console, set to release around this late 2016, will focus on games that have been previously loaded on cartridges rather than an optical discs. The inset had a collectorvision pack-in title called Adventures of Tiny Knight.

Jason has been the recipient of many awards due to his attention to detail, dedication to a high-quality product, and focus. He is currently working on his newest game, which we will cover in the near future. Jason also produces two games for Ricky Henry and his comic/live action series A.C.I.D. 2
