The old saying “you can never have too much” was probably not mumbled thinking of 8-Bit inspired action platform games.  That doesn’t mean we can’t use it here though.  SEEP are working on releasing a full length game called SEEP World on PC.  This is a completely new, original, 2D side scrolling action platform game that features six button controller support.  The story is straight out of retrogaming and features quite a few nods to classics of the past. 

There are four worlds, Earth/Fantasy/Sci Fi/Horror, which are threatened by boss characters that should not be there.  Your job is to control one of the brothers, Sergio and Enrico, to stop this madness.  The reason things have fallen apart is because of a corrupted code in some old arcade games effecting the timeline and the brothers are the only ones that can fix it.

SEEP Universe features over 20 stages of retrogaming 8-Bit/16-Bit action.  Each boss has unique attributes that you have to exploit to advance.  The first boss, who is attacking Earth, requires you to drive away in the yellow SEEP car, rather than fighting it head on.  The other bosses will require different tactics also.

Along your adventure in SEEP Universe you will find SEEP coins.  Collecting these coins is very beneficial to your adventure since they can be spent on secrets and other things that may help you.  Imagine being able to spend the coins you collected in Mario for more men, a power up or similar and you will be close to what SEEP is wanting to do here.
