Update- Slain Successfully Funded on Kickstarter with Time to Spare

Late last year we covered Slain, previously called 7 Towers, and how it was coming this year.  The team behind Slain have since then put the game on Kickstarter and just recently successfully passed their minimum goal.  Now Slain will finish its Kickstarter run in about 18 days so there is plenty of time to raise additional funding.  What is interesting about Slain is that apparently it will be coming to a plethora of platforms after the base funding, which they just reached, is reached.  Action fans that are also into horror movies, or Splatterhouse, should feel right at home with Slain.

Alright, let’s start with the fun stuff first.  The graphics of Slain definitely take advantage of the newer hardware that is available.  At the moment, Slain is heading to PC (Windows, Mac, Linux), Playstation 4, Xbox One, Playstation Vita and Nintendo Wii U.  That is a lot of systems and based on the Kickstarter page, and the serious lack of information on stretch goals, it appears that initial funding will cover all of those platforms.  Talk about bang for your buck.

If you are concerned about Slain being finished, and being worth not only your time but cold hard cash, don’t worry.  The staff working on Slain have worked at a myriad of gaming companies.  From 3DO to Naughty Dog and Ritual Entertainment, this team runs the gamut.  Members of the Slain team have worked on in the past include, but are not limited to, Grand Theft Auto V among many other AAA titles.Slain_Kickstarter_Playstation_Vita_Nintendo_WiiU_PC_Steam_Windows_Xbox_Xbone_Linux_Macintosh (2)
