Update: Pedal to the Metal is the Unnamed Collectorvision Racing Game for NES, Pics and Youtube Music Sample Too

Less than a week ago I covered a new racing title that Collectorvision were working on.  At that time there was a single, solitary, screenshot available.  Now, just a few days later there are several screenshots available, a Youtube video showing off some of the music and Collectorvision have announced the name of this new game.  This new racing title has been compared to the classics such as Lotus Turbo Challenge on Sega Genesis and Top Gear 1 & 2 on Super Nintendo with a dash of Rad Racer on the NES.  Judging by the new screenshots, that is a fairly accurate description.

From what we can see in these new pics of Pedal to the Metal is that there will be a few gaming modes and levels available.  Night time racing will be available, presumably with the limited view of the oncoming road that comes with racing in the dark.  There are also snowy mountains in one pic, though I am unsure if this will affect the road in any meaningful way.  What is missing from these pictures is any sign of a two player mode in Pedal to the Metal.  Hopefully, this mode will be included before release.
