Update: The 7 Towers Rebranded as Slain, Coming Early Next Year

The 7 Towers is a 2D side scrolling action adventure set in a gothic landscape. That is the gist of The 7 Towers. Recently Wolfbrew Games announced that they will be rebranding 7 Towers to Slain, a much more fitting name for the game- just look at the recently released trailer for proof of that.

SLain is set in a similar style game world as that of the Castlevania series. Slain is much more bloody, gory and generally depressing in austhetics than Konami’s classic series ever mustered up, though. The gore level is high in Slain with your character beheading zombie creatures, gargoyles and crushing skeletons in fantasticly animated pixelated detail. The levels will cut you down, quick, too. Much faster than a level fatality in Mortal Kombat 3, Slain will drop you minced bloody body to the ground and grin at your dismay after doing so.

Slain is currently slated for a March 2015 release on “PC”. So far, there is no word on if Slain is hitting Windows, Linux or Mac or all three or just two.
