The Neo Geo is quite an enigma, moreso than the Dreamcast console. Independent developers and publishers continue to support both consoles but with the Neo Geo it is a price issue and the fans seem to have no problem paying it. Razion is not going to be a budget title by any means, similar to Knight’s Chance, there is going to be a severely high, according to everyday Joe values, price tag attached. The question is, are gamers tired of scrolling shooters on both platforms? We will find out later this year when MVS owners get a chance to purchase Razion.

Coming sometime in December and with a price tag of about $650, according to Dreamcast-Scene, Razion is definitely not a cheap title. Many are comparing Razion to Dux, another Neo Geo/Dreamcast independent release. The comparisons are coming based on both games using bright pastel colors though Razion is more of a bullet hell shooter while Dux was more of a memorization of patterns shooter.
