Perfect Dark was an instrumental release on the Nintendo 64, it was the spiritual successor to Golden Eye 64 and gave gamers another game to flaunt in the face of Sega Saturn and Sony Playstation owners (neener neener). This little fact has not stopped hackers from taking it upon themselves to “port” Perfect Dark to the Nintendo Entertainment System.

The story here is that Joanna Dark, played by you, is tasked with saving her boss from the diabolical Datadyne Corporation. Pretty simple storyline that should fit nicely into the confines of the Rolling Thunder engine.

Cutscenes have been changed, text has been redone, general graphics, sounds and colors have been edited to better fit Perfect Dark. This is what PC gamers would call a “total conversion” except Rolling Thunder was never intended to modded like nearly every First Person Shooter (FPS) released.
