Awhile back we covered a game hack for the Nintendo classic, Pro Wrestling, by pacnsacdave. In that version, Pro Wrestling became WWE Wrestling (we covered it in issue #2 of RGM and here onsite). Now, pacnsacdave has created an Impact Wrestling hack for Pro Wrestling.

While Impact Wrestling, formerly TNA (or still depending on what day of the week it is and who you ask) is just like the WWE Wrestling hack. Moves are not changed since that is quite a bit outside of the scope of the engine of Pro Wrestling but the sprites look quite a bit like their real world counterparts.

For me, this is a hack I was hoping would be created (I am credited by pacnsacdave) and am glad that it has been released. If you are a fan of TNA Impact Wrestling then you will want to check this hack out.

Since Pro Wrestling is not freeware, we can only link to the patch file over on ROMHacking.net, getting the game file is up to you.
