Piko Interactive have been quite busy lately (as evidenced here) and they are not resting anytime soon. Their newest announcement is Duke Nukem 3D for the Sega Genesis, formerly a Brazilian only release. Piko Interactive has acquired the rights to publish this game, they are not simply “taking” the code and putting it on a cartridge. This will be a full on release, just like other Piko Interactive releases.
The interesting thing about Duke Nukem 3D is that it is Piko Interactive’s first Sega Genesis release (they are most prolific on the SNES). Duke Nukem 3D is also notable for being a First Person Shooter (FPS), a genre that was not popular by any means on the Sega Genesis. This is the second new Sega Genesis title to be announced this week. It Came From the Desert being the other.
Video not representative of what Piko Interactive is working on other than this is the original Tectoy version.
Grab Duke Nukem 3D for the Sega Genesis off the Piko Interactive store.
