Remember playing Combat on the Atari 2600? How about Street Fighter II? Now imagine mixing both into one game? That is basically what Super Tank Wars is, Combat mixed with the characters and the over the topness of Street Fighter II.

Super Tank Wars will have 18 playable characters, each much like Street Fighter II, will have their own stats, abilities and special destructive attacks. There will be nine unique tanks available each having different levels of armor and fire power. The interesting part here is that characters are not stuck with one tank- like how only certain Street Fighter characters can pull off certain moves. Like how the firepower of one tank but like the abilities of another driver? Mix them, match them and blow up your opponent.

Super Tank Wars is like Bomberman meets Street Fighter II meets Combat.

Planned release platforms include PC, Steam (currently on Greenlight), Desura and Linux.
