Everyone knows that Law and Order, nearly all of the spin-offs and the original, feature storylines that heavily reference real world events. Names and other details are changed and sometimes facts from multiple stories are mixed into one episode to keep the show interesting. Highway of Tears is a game that is aiming to do something similar for its storylines. Based on real events from British Columbia, Canada, Highway of Tears is a point and click adventure title for PC’s.

Fans of the classics such as Leisure Suit Larry, King’s Quest and the like will want to check out Highway of Tears (there is a demo available). Adventure game trappings are here, talking to people, collecting notes (automatically annotated in your notebook thankfully) and puzzles that need solving to advance.
