What if Nintendo did a demake of Mario Kart 8 and it was for the Super Nintendo? Well, no need as some enterprising fans have done just that, though they hacked Super Mario Kart and created a reasonable facsimile of Mario Kart 8 using the Super Mario Kart engine.

This is not a “spot on demake” or a track for track demake of Mario Kart 8 but it does include a lot of the tracks from the newest Mario Kart. Along with those newer tracks there are more than a few original tracks that expand on the idea of what Mario Kart 8 would have been like on the Super Nintendo.
