Continuing their dominance with retro inspired games that bring back classic franchises, Nintendo is also releasing Kirby and the Rainbow Curse for the Wii U. While Yoshi’s Wooly World is a 2D side scrolling adventure that is made of a cats favorite toy, Kirby’s new game is all about clay. According to the press release, hand crafted clay makes up the levels and enemies you will face in this all new 2D side scrolling adventure.

Rainbow Curse makes use of the touch screen controller of the Wii U to interact with the on screen challenges. Drawing on the tablet will produce a rainbow colored clay rope but tapping will make Kirby attack enemies. This sounds like it may be confusing but knowing Nintendo this will probably work out better than expected.
