European gamers are somewhat used to getting the short end of the stick when it comes to game releases. This was especially true back in the 90’s when the PAL region was regularly overlooked when a new game was to be released. Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine for the Nintendo 64 was one such title which is now available for free online thanks to fans.
Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine was rought with delays during development and eventually the PAL region version was cancelled completely. Things in the United States were not much better concerning Indiana Jones’ outing on the Nintendo hardware. The Infernal Machine was a Blockbuster exclusive here (i.e., good luck finding a copy today) which severely limited the availability of the game. There is a PC version that was generally released and was widely available but for the time, it needed a beast of a PC (mainly the graphics card) to play well, again limiting the scope of gamers that could enjoy it.
