Castlevania is getting around when it comes to inspiration for games (see ***). This time, Castlevania is the inspiration for a more straightforward homage called Viktor from Shorebound Studios. Viktor is coming to Steam so get ready 2D side scrolling action gamers, here is another title that may be worth your time.
How is Viktor inspired by Castlevania you may be asking? Just look at the pic and the gameplay video, those are HUGE bosses that have a Castlevania vibe to them (i.e., huge and deadly monstrosities). Viktor is obviously being developed by people that love the retro gaming style that Castlevania represents.

The gun actually seems kind of combersome, but the game looks awesome! We’ll see..
Yeah, the gameplay will probably take a bit to get used to as they seem to be going with the Abuse style (mouse aiming) of controls. This is definitely one to keep an eye on though.
