This installment of Bandit Gaming brings information on a new isometric game called Batman 1986 Version. This is not a whole new game but a hack, total conversion if you will, of another game called Head over Heels. Batman 1986 changes everything around to a style that is a mix of the 60’s Batman (the one DC Comics wants to forget) and a cartoony version of the caped crusader.
In Batman 1986 you are pressed into service to save Robin, who is apparently a bigger dolt in gaming than he is in the comics (but was missing from most of the cartoons, go figure). Controlling Batman around the Batcave you have to collect the seven pieces of the Batcraft hovercraft. Alfred must have been on vacation for a few months prior to this happening because the Batcave is a mess.
Batman 1986 Version is free from RetroSpec. Thanks to Indie Retro News for the heads up on this one.
