When Nintendo dropped the Mario universe into a kart racing engine, it was all new and unique. Sure, Nintendo expanded the Mario universe in the past with titles such as Dr. Mario but this was the first time that Mario entered into racing. Mario Kart was a hit. Fans have decided to take that hit title, create a total conversion of it using the SpongeBob Squarepants characters and have now released Super SpongeBob Kart.

Everything is changed including characters, weapons and tracks, this is a new kart racer. The story behind Super SpongeBob Kart is that Mrs. Puff has opened her driving school courses up for racing and had some Gold Cups created for the winner. Conch Shells, Pineapples, Neptune’s Spatula and more wild and wacky weapons are at your disposal here.

Check Super SpongeBob Kart for a change of pace within the confines of the Super Mario Kart world. This game is definitely better than the various SpongeBob racing games that have been released so far.
