New Nintendo Entertainment System games is quite a rarity, there simply are not a lot of them coming out. In issue #2 of RGM one new NES game was detailed but here is another that came out too late to make that issue. Star Keeper is an original title coming out of China. Yeah, that China. Star Keeper is almost an homage to Jetpac on the ZX Spectrum.

Gameplay is something like Contra if you could fly and there weren’t pits you could fall into and die. Also, enemies would be friendly looking angel types that shoot musical notes at you. The point of Star Keeper is to collect stars that have found their way to Earth and are just floating around. These stars need to be returned to their travelling home before it blasts off.
