Game Hack: God Save the Queen Now Usable in Final Fantasy IX

Final Fantasy IX was an extremely notable release for the Playstation, for one, it was the last Final Fantasy game to be released on Sony’s machine. Secondly, Final Fantasy IX was a return to the actual “fantasy” world that most gamers associated with the series, after the “unique” styling of Final Fantasy VIII. One nagging problem with Final Fantasy IX was the lack of being able to actually equip, and use, the sword known as “God Save the Queen”. That little problem has been fixed, thanks to fans.

In the normal game, “God Save the Queen” is just an item that seemingly is useless to the player but if kept in your inventory will allow access to a secret ending. That is all this special sword is able to do in the normal game. What a shame for such a powerful weapon that looks so cool in the hands of Beatrix. Some ingenuitive fans have fixed this situation and now, everyone can enjoy the power of the “God Save the Queen” sword.

While not the most powerful weapon that Steiner can equip (yes, he is the only one that can use this sword), “God Save the Queen” is still powerful. Excalibur II still holds the title of most powerful sword that Steiner can equip, then “God Save the Queen”.
