The Super Famicom, Super Nintendo in North America, was not lacking in role playing games. Especially games that did not get translated for English speaking gamers. One mre game, Chaos Seed can be removed from the list of “can’t play”. Thanks to Dynamic Designs, English speaking/reading gamers can enjoy this unique dungeon rebuilding, planet healing role playing game and it works on actual hardware too if you have a flash cart.
In Chaos Seed you are a “Cave Hermit” that is put in the position of healing the land that has lost it’s energy. Improving the land will lead to an improved underworld, where you and others live. This is not your usual role playing game. Part sim, RPG, adventure and even resource management, Chaos Seed runs the gamut.
Check out Choas Seed’s translation over on Dynamic Designs website and grab the patch while you are there. Since Chaos Seed is not freeware, we cannot link directly to a download.
