The Sonic fan community is huge as evidenced by the plethora of new content being created through hacks and game engines such as Unity. Gamers love Sega’s leading mascot and are not scared to show it. One such fan has created a game hack called Metal Sonic Hyperdrive for the Sega Genesis. Using pieces from different Sonic games, Metal Sonic Hyperdrive will feel at home and all new at the same time.

Metal Sonic Hyperdrive has been updated with new features that build off of the hack’s original design. Fans can expect updated level designs, tweaks and new features such as an extras menu and a survival mode.
