Zoids Apocalypse is a strategy title based on the Zoids action figure line, which was also a comic and television series. Unique to this version is the option to play in turn based battles or real time confrontations. This title is also available for the Nintendo Wii Virtual Console in Japan.

Fan translations are cool, they allow gamers that don’t speak a certain language to be able to play new titles that they would have otherwise missed out on. Zoids Apocalypse features unique play mechanics that other NES strategy titles don’t have such as earthquakes that change the playfield (Koei, what happened?).
