What do you do with a 20 year old, Super Famicom, visual novel that was pretty much a Japanese exclusive till now? If you are Aksys Games, you translate it and release it on iOS for a whole new generation of gamers to enjoy for less than the cost of a fast food greasy burger.

Developed by Chunsoft, Banshee’s Last Cry is the second game in their sound novel series. The plot is like one of those “murder weekend” parties that used to be extremely popular, except this ski lodge is the scene of a real murder. Searching out clues, reading the content and discovering the true killer is just the beginning here. Not only are there multiple endings but also multiple additional stories available once all of the endings are found. Talk about bang for your buck.

If you want to see more of these types of games then support the ones that are officially released. This is a 20 year old title that just got released which shows just about anything can happen if companies have incentive to do it.
