Another Japanese exclusive release for the Nintendo Entertainment System (Nintendo Famicom in Japan), Mappy Kids, is now available in English thanks to dedicated fans.

Following the adventures of Mappy (this is a sequel to the arcade hit by the way) who takes on the world, including oversized furniture and obstacles (Mappy is a mouse if you didn’t know). Gameplay has been compared to Super Mario 3 with platforming adventures ahead for gamers willing to take the time to put everything together (legally obtained copy of the game and the ROM patch).

Mappy Kids is not freeware so we cannot link to the actual game but the translation patch is and can be obtained at Romhacking.net.
