Fan Translation: Royal Stone Released for Sega Game Gear

There are not too terribly many Game Gear titles that are Japan exclusives that require extensive knowledge of the language to play. One more title, Royal Stone, has been taken off of that list and is now available in English thanks to Aeon Genesis for providing this fan translation.

Royal Stone is a strategy Role Playing Game, similar to the Shining Force series but with a different battle mechanic. Stateside fans may be interested in knowing this is the sequel to Crystal Warriors, a Game Gear title that did make it here.

Graphically, and aurally, Royal Stone is quite impressive considering the hardware it was running on. Originally released in 1995, translated in 2013, Royal Stone is now available. Since this title is not a free title we can only link to the patch file on Aeon Genesis project page.
