For a “dead” system, the Sega Dreamcast is receiving some interesting titles as of late. First a port of Alone in the Dark is in the works and we find out about an action RPG called Saviour and now, a platfomer called Reblobed.

This is a remake of 2D Retroperspectives first title, Jump N Blob, and so far, it looks pretty awesome. 2D platformers are rarer in the independent scene as most focus on scrolling shooters of some sort (something 2D-RP hasn’t done yet which is cool too).
