While the Super Nintendo got a version of Wolfenstein 3D a couple of decades ago, we are finally seeing work commence on a Sega Genesis version. Back in the day this title was believed to be impossible by many developers. The indie programming community is proving that belief wrong.
For those that don’t know, Wolfenstein 3D is a first person shooter. There is a story about a WWII soldier and all of that trying to infiltrate Hitler’s lair and become the ultimate hero. As we know, though, FPS titles aren’t heavy on the story since they are more focused on fast action. That is something missing from the demo of Wolfenstein 3D on Genesis right now, they enemies, the challenge. That stuff will be added later, we are sure, as development progresses.

For up to date releases of the demo hit the development thread. Thanks, Retrocollect for the news.
