After the successful launch of the original Pier Solar, Watermelon are preparing to launch it in HD on the Nintendo Wii U and Sega Dreamcast. Currently slated for the first quarter of 2014.

For those that don’t know, Pier Solar is a Role Playing Game styled after successful 16-Bit RPG’s such as Final Fantasy and Phantasy Star IV.

Check out the screens for an idea of the improvements being implemented with this new version. All screens are from the Wii U version of Pier Solar.
