Candelabra: Estoscerro Homebrew Title Coming to NES

This post is from Gaming on Nintendo: The Nintendo Entertainment System, a console that is credited with reviving the North American home video game market, continues to get new games even decades after Nintendo discontinued the platform. This latest title we are talking about is a Role Playing Game (RPG) called Candelabra: Estoscerro by Sly Dog Studios.

Now, me personally, I love first person point of view dungeon crawling epics (I still play Alternate Reality: The Dungeon regularly) and find that this is a sorely missed genre in todays market. PC developers give us a few of these every once in awhile but they usually have major quirks to them that turn me off.

Here in Candelabra: Estoscerro it is straight up Wizardry looking scenes but with filled in colored walls (where Wizardry was nothing but wire frames, even the first NES version).

Check out the video and grab the demo. There will be a full on cartridge release later this year, presumably through RetroUSB or some other service.
